Number Eight

It has officially been a year since my last blog post. I feel like I should apologize, but I find a bit unnecessary to apologize to a computer that can't do anything at a correct speed, and has a bad pop up blocker that I don't know how to fix.

I think I'm going to start a personal blog today, but who knows if I'll even write anything on there. Hah.

SO today, I would like to discuss the internet.

I love the internet. It's probably the most useful thing I could possibly think of. I use my computer to find knowledge on topics I wouldn't know otherwise, and to find opinions from other people on specific incidents, or to even watch a SXE Phil video and find out current events happening in our world.(I'm not a huge fan of the news) SO most of all, I enjoy computers for the knowledge they bring me. However, the internet comes along with things such as Facebook, Twitter, chat rooms, myspace, ect. Personally, I admit to having a facebook, myspace, and twitter, and I have gone into a chat room. Sometimes I even feel dependent on it, but I have to the conclusion that they are so stupid, and son ridiculous. As for myspace, it's all about your cute pictures and having the coolest layout. For facebook, it's about getting the most attention or 'likes' on your status. Chat rooms are for talking to strangers for fun. No explanation needed. And twitter is to tell everyone what you're doing at that moment, if they can't be with you. I find these acts to be so stupid and unnecessary but I still continue to use these resources. If I hate them and still use them, I wonder what it's like for other people?

You know.
Just a thought
