Number Seven

Holy Freaking Guacamole

It has just been too long since I've written a blog! My life has been rather hectic, as I'm sure you can imagine. This time of year always seems to be the most tiring, and draining if you ask me. Not much of a break since Christmas until spring. eek! but spring break is coming and after that, I'm going to New York! I have a lot of exciting things going on right now. I finally started Drivers Ed. About time! My dad's birthday is on Saturday, so i might go to see him. I'm turning sixteen in mid May!! Tonight and next Thursday I have a few performances to do. a lot o work, but a ton of fun. spring break and thennnnnnnnnnnnnnn NEW YORK! and we get to sing there. It's going to be a blast. then I'll have finals, and the summer musical will start, same with all of summer's traditions.

Does it just make you excited to read it? I bet it does.

So today I'm wonderingwhy people want to be dramatic. Why do people make dramatic situations out o nothing? seems silly and childish.

For example:
A:Hey Jenny
B:Oh Hi Liz! are you coming to my party?
A:Accully that's what I camne to talk to you about - I hve a volunteer project same time and I can't make it.
B:OH dang, I was really looking forward to seeing you.
A:Yeah, Sorry.
B:Ha, it's cool we can go to the mall or something anoth time.
A:Haha alight

But instead, This is what usally happens -

A:Hey Jenny!
B:O hi Liz! are you coming to my party?
A:Accully that's what I came to talk to you about - I have a volunteer poject same time ad I can't make it.
B:But it's my eighteenth birthday party! how could you?
A:Don't be so mad.
B:Too Late

Why can't people just take a 'chill pill' and be calm? makes life a lot less stressful <3

Either way, It just a thought.

Number Six

Whistle While You Work.

So as I said in my last blog, tons of things are coming down to their deadline, and I'm just becoming so stressed because of it. One of the most stressful has been Solo ensemble, a music competition I'm singing in. I'm singing two solo on duet and one quartet. The solos are going great, the ensembles however are just a disaster. We haven't found the time to get together and practice, so it just sucks.

But I never thought about how fun working in a group could be. I don't think it registered in my mind that we could work and at the same time we could be having fun and joking around.

So I would like to show my complete gratitude and happiness for the existence of the following people : Rachie, Kaestner, Carly, Sam, Ashley a Annalise (:

Number Five

Crunch Munch Crunch

Major time crunch coming on. I'm not excited at all.
History paper due tomorrow. It just so happens history is one of my worst. pleasant, eh?

Solo & ensemble is coming just around the river bend (:
HOWEVER
My duet and quartet are like disaster 101.
I ant to be excited, but this disastrous crunch for time is getting in my way.

So the I took a moment to think.

i have come to realize that my life is time crunch after time crunch and that'show its always been. I'm starting to notice this from my friends as well. So why d we wait an put somethinoff until last minute when we KNOW it's going to be total chaos the day before when we remember we didn't take care of it.

I would save myself a lifetime of hassle if I cut procrastination out of my life.
Funny thing is, I'm usuing this blog to procrastinate.

Just another lovely thought.

Number Four

Why can't anything go the way you want in highschool?

I would imagine it only prepares us for the real world. I guess I like knowing that my life wasn't perfect in high school only to find my world come crashing down once I graduated. Sometimes though, I wish things would just go down the perfect course, because lately everything has bee going down the same path and ending up somewhere else. It's like I'm skipping down candy cane lane picking sugarplum flowers sprinkled with a morning dew of Kool-aid ad then the path ends and my destination ends up being a scene in the saw movies.

Maybe that's a bit dramatic, but being a silly teenage girl with raging hormones can alter my mind sometimes. ;)

The sad thing is, it usually has to do wit boys.

Just A Thought.

Number Three

Gah!

I'm a cheerleader, I love it.
So today our basketball team played against one of our rival schools. The game was so intense from the second it started I could nearly choked the air was so thick. Each team went back and forth with the ball, basket after basket but the rivals were beating us. we kept an even pace behind them, but we rarely got in the lead.

Finally we got to a point where if we made just one three pointer, we could've been in the lead, and it was in the last few minutes. I hot so nervous, so excited so crazy over winning.

We lost, and I was pissed.

Then I thought, why exactly do I want to win so badly? Why so I need to show that we're better than everyone else? why can't I cheer for someone else's benefit instead of moping over our loss? I should start being more positive. Cheer about the good, Forget the bad.

Live my life in a way that makes me happy.

Eh, Just A Thought

(Tomorrows Friday, woo!)

Number Two

Hooray Wednesday!

I absolutely love Wednesdays. Not only do they mark the week being half over, they also are a day of relaxtion for me. No cheer, no performing, no practice, no voice lessons, nothing. Just a day to myself to use whichever way I want.

So what did I do on my day of relaxation? I went to Chipotle with my sister of course. ( Chipotle = Delicious mexican restaurant. )

I absolutely love spending time with my sister. I don't have very many gal pals to talk to(probably because I use the term 'gal pals'), so I usually end up spilling everything to my mom. It's just nice to be able to talk to someone who gets whats going on in my life, and I can be honest with. She wont end up turning around stabbing me in the back, because she has my back. I adore having a sibling.

So why are so many people so pissy and bitchy about their older brothers and sisters? I mean, sure we get into fights, but I would never tell anyone I hated her. I think people should spend more time with their siblings, instead just deciding on hating them. You might like spending time with them more than you think (:

Whatever, It was Just A Thought.

Number One

Well, My name is Hayley.

I'm only 15. It just so happens that when you're young, people don't want to listen to you.
I hate that.

It's true, I might not have experienced as much as others, and I'm a bit self absorbed, but I still exist. I still think important thoughts, whether they're important to you or not. Being so young, I'm always just tuned out, like nothing I say matters.

So I started a blog.
It enables me to say what I want, feel, think and believe and no one can shut me up. Nobody can just erase my ideas from internet. They don't have to listen, but knowing that it's there for people to read, is comforting.

Maybe this will give me a chance to be heard.
But then again, that's just a thought.
